Mistakes Of Many African Men in Marriage:

Lots of African Men are making mistakes in their Marriages, this is making life difficult for their wives and Children. There is need to examine this and tutor all Men to behave better. . 1) SLAVE-WIFE MENTALITY: It’s not funny to know that lots of African Men see women as slave, servants or something close to that. They believe women are good for nothing but sex, baby making, house chores and cooking. They operate with that kind of mentality with their wives. Many believe a wife should only be seen not heard, it’s really funny the way some men treats heir wives. . 2) PUTTING FAMILY OVER WIVES: . Lots of African Men are fond of this, they put their extended family first, they even make their wives to slave for their extended family members. Some beat or even divorce their wives because of their siblings. This is totally wrong. It’s madness to allow your family Members who are in their own Marriage to destroy yours, it’s high level of foolishness to allow your siblings to take over

The Real Problem Of Nigeria and Nigerians by Charles Awuzie

In South Africa, the biggest religious centers are owned by Nigerians. In Nigeria, the biggest Businesses are owned by South Africans. In South Africa, Nigeria' s biggest export includes Christ Embassy Church and Redeemed Church. In Nigeria, South Africa's presence is announced through MTN and Shoprite Etc. So while Nigeria is busy exporting religion, South Africa is busy placing an economic presence in the continent. In America, Europe etc, Nigerians are building big congregations while those countries are going to Nigeria to build big corporations. This is why I feel ashamed of any Nigerian papa who is busy praying for his spiritual sons to get employed - who will employ them when the people who should build corporate organizations are busy building religious cathedrals? Nigeria should formally declare that religion is our major product so that the world will stop expecting us to export something else besides religion. Think about this. Maranatha. Charles

NIGERIA: Hausa/Fulani Is Not A Major Tribe

As a matter of fact, there are no official 'Major' tribal group called Hausa/Fulani in Nigeria. Hausa is a minor tribe in Kano who are not up to 3000 in number, and history has it that they are Nigeriens that came to settle in Kano around 19/20th century, and have taken their Hausa language with them. Traders from Maiduguri, Kano and Chad basins also helped in disseminating the language. This same history is also related to the Fulanis. There are over 180 tribes among the 19 northern states in Nigeria, including Yorubas in Kogi and Tivs and Idomas(Ette) in Benue and Kogi, whose ethnicity are not in anyway related to Hausa. But all identify as Northern Hausa/Fulani. Making Hausa the largest ethnic group in Africa, and as well the most spoken language after swahili. The idea of Hausa/Fulani as major language in Nigeria is a shell, thanks to the language.
