Sony Interactive Entertainment decided to delay the PlayStation 5 reveal event that was scheduled for June 4. The decision was relayed via a tweet from the company. The company’s tweet said, ‘We have decided to postpone the PlayStation 5 event scheduled for June 4. While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration, and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard.’

The PlayStation 5 event was announced on May 29 and was aimed to ‘give you a first look at the games you’ll be playing after PlayStation 5 launches this holiday’ as per a blog post on the PlayStation website. Serious gamers were hoping to get their hands on the unrevealed PlayStation 5 titles such as ‘Horizon Zero Dawn 2’ or ‘2020 Call of Duty’. However, they will now have to wait for some time before they are able to find out about the games that are debuting with the PS5 launch.

The reveal event was supposed to open for other gaming announcements including news from Microsoft. However, it seems that most of them will also be postponed. However, we completely agree with PlayStation’s announcement that this is not the time to be celebrating new video games and hardware. Rather it is time for companies such as Sony to lean back thus allowing ‘more important voices to be heard.’

The decision is an apt decision and we are hopeful that it won’t leave the gaming community frustrated after having waited for too long for the PlayStation 5 console. Other gaming companies including Astro, Riot Games, and EA have also released statements in support of the protests. The official PlayStation Twitter also tweeted, ‘We denounce systemic racism and violence against the Black community. We will continue to work towards a future marked by empathy and inclusion and stand with our Black creators, players, employees, families, and friends. #BlackLivesMatter.’

Reno Omokri claims these monumental structures in Western countries are "dedicated to satan" then shares biblical passages to back his claim

Reno Omokri shared photos of some structures built in Western countries and alleged that they are dedicated to satan. He then shared biblical passages to back his claim. He shared photos of structures in London, Rome, Washington D.C. and New York and said they are the "Asherah Pole, a pagan idol" which "God detests and warns believers to avoid".  He wrotes:         1 Kings 16:33, 2 Kings 23:6, Deuteronomy 16:21, Exodus 34:13 and many other verses of Scripture instruct us that an Asherah Pole is a pagan idol God detests and warns believers to avoid. But what is an Asherah Pole? Google it and check the images that describe it. An Asherah Pole is simply a phallic pole dedicated to satan. Almost all major cities in the West have an Asherah Pole hidden in plain sight!? #TableShaker   kk
