Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' 📽 Run Time Revealed & 🎞 It's Shorter Than Expected
Director J.J. Abrams just confirmed the run time for the newest "Star Wars film - The Rise of Skywalker", which will debut in theaters on December 20.
He said it's about "two hours and 21 minutes," and then added an "I believe," meaning this can perhaps change before the release date. Previously, rumors had the film having a run time of two hours and 35 minutes, so this is a bit shorter than anticipated.
Also, while making an appearance on the TV show "Good Morning America" on Sunday, the director revealed that a real script found its way onto the e-commerce site eBay.
“One of our actors, I won’t say which one — I want to, but I won’t — left it under their bed and it was found by someone who was cleaning their place,” Abrams told the audience. “And it was given to someone else, who then went to sell it on eBay.”
J.J. revealed that somebody who works at Disney saw the item up for sale and bought it so they “got it back before it sold. With all those security, you gotta be careful.”
