BIAFRIANS (IBOS) REMEMBERS THEIR LOST HERO TODAY 30th May 2020

We'll never forgive because they were never sorry,
We'll never forget that all they wanted was to wipe us off the face of the earth as a people.
Over 3 millions of people children inclusive was killed by Nigerian jihadist military, through hunger and starvation with the help of Britain, Russia, Egypt and many more who wanted a share of the crude oil in our lands...
Our blood flowed endlessly. Our lands was wetted by our own blood, just because we demanded for what is our right, a Nation we could call our own.
Tears of anguish, agony, suffering and hopelessness rained like waterfalls from the top of the mountain down to a rocky land.
Yes we surrendered, but we're never defeated,
Because he who fights and run away lives to fight another day.
Our parents and grandparents, relatives were buried in mass graves,
Buried under bullets that rained from our skies, yes they thought we've been buried forever, but like the Phoenix from the ashes of our ruins we rose.
They want us to forgive and forget without retributions,
They said our stories should not be told,
They took away history from our schools in order to hide one of the worst genocide and atrocities committed against mankind on earth.
In Biafra, humanity was betrayed.
Today we remember our fallen heroes in the 1967 - 1970 genocidal war against Biafrans by Nigeria, Britain and her then allies...

IKOT-EKPENE, THE RAFFIA CITY - My Story Articles

Ikot Ekpene, known throughout Nigeria as "The Raffia City", or locally simply as "IK," is a historic town Akwa Ibom State, South-South Nigeria. It is the political and cultural capital of the Annang ethnic group in Nigeria. The town is located on the A342 highway that parallels the coast, between Calabar to the South-East and Aba to the West, with the state capital, Uyo, on this road just to the East. Umuahia is the next major town to the North. Ikot-Ekpene is known as a regional centre of commerce, notable for palm products, especially palm oil, kernels, raffia products including raffia fibers and its sweet wine, as well as ground crops of yams, cassava, taro, and corn. The population is made up primarily of the Annang people with a small number of Igbo traders and Hausa vendors. Significant exports also include basket weaving, sculpture, and, most notably, raffia cane furniture (hence the colloquial name of the town). Though most inhabitants of the are...
