Check out this incredible contraption that comes from a Japanese design company known as SMD Factory. A close look at it makes you feel it is some sort of futuristic gadget that was created back in the 1930s. The whole thing is metallic and has decorative features such as a small oscilloscope and an astrolabe incorporated into it.
It also features interconnected latches and gears. This device by SMD Factory is as much steampunk a device can be but at the end of the day, it is just a cardholder albeit a really fascinating one at that.
