YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Mrs. Chinwe Ugwu may have written her name on the sands of time as the only LGA TC Chairman that is inlove with Poverty Expansion Empowerment. However, Mrs. Chinwe may not have really done worse than others. Someone once appointed hundreds of Executive Advisers that he do not even know. They gulped 60k each at the end of every month for simply doing NOTHING. He called it EMPOWERMENT! While on the surface, it may not be glaring like that of Chinwe Ugwu, in reality, it is worse because Chinwe empowered less privileged citizens with more poverty, while he converted able bodied men and women, most of them, graduates into beer  🍻  drinking and intellectually lazy political appointees by empowering them to go and drink beers and share beers in their wards, especially during ward meetings. Such peanuts created the heavy traffic of Sycophants we have today, and many, especially the agents of YOUTH O'CLOCK are struggling to get hold of any of such empowerment that may come aro...

HAVE YOU EVER TRIED LIVING WITH A BROKEN HEART?

A young, average looking bachelor officer in the Indian Army had fallen in love, much against his will, with a celebrated beauty called Frances Gambier in Lucknow, India. Not only was she breathtakingly beautiful, but she was also acutely intelligent to boot, authoring well-acclaimed journals and articles in major newspapers, not to mention that she was well placed in society and an avowed equestrian with a penchant for breaking  wild horses. With the conviction that she was his one true love and exiting the scene on a convenient mission to Burma while the dust settled, he gave her comforting words, his plans for their future together and his heart; lock, stock, and barrel. And he departed. The bad news that she had been in an accident and was now recuperating in London, caught up with him overseas. Permission granted by his superiors and half-mad with fear and anxiety, he went seeking Frances and found her, to his uttermost shock and disbelief, much recovered in the arms...

WARREN BUFFET EXPOSES HOW TO LIVE A HAPPIER LIFE.

Warren Buffett Says This Is the Rule He Would Live By to Be Happier, if He Could Start All Over Again Money is important, but not the most important thing. No one gets another shot at life, but imagining what you might do with one can be a useful thought exercise. It's even more enlightening when the person doing it has already been  hugely successful  the first time around -- like, $82 billion successful. In  a 1998 lecture  to University of Florida MBA students, business magnate  Warren Buffett , CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, fielded a host of questions on investments and valuations before a thoughtful student asked, "What would you do to live a happier life if you could live over again?" According to the Oracle of Omaha, "The way to do it is to play out the game and do something you enjoy all your life and be associated with people you like. I work only with people I like." He drives the point home by raising the stakes. "If I c...

THE BITTER TRUTH ABOUT THE IGBO

"In the last 80 years, the Igbo have been shown more generosity, accommodation, warmth and kindness and given more opportunities and leverage by the Yoruba than they have been offered by ANY other ethnic group in Nigeria. This is a historical fact. "The Yoruba do not have any resentment for the Igbo and we have allowed them to do in our land and our territory what they have never allowed us to do in theirs. This has been so for 80 long years and it is something that we are very proud of. "The reason why many of our people take strong exception to the apparent outrage of the Igbo over this ”deportation” issue and the provocative comments of my friend and brother Chief Orji Uzor Kalu when he described Lagos as being a ”no man’s land” is because the Igbo have not only taken us for granted but they have also taken liberty for licence. "We cannot be expected to tolerate or accept that sort of irreverent and unintelligent rubbish simply because we still happen to ...

WHAT RENO OMOKRI SAYS ABOUT CHRISTIAN WORSHIP, DOCTRINE AND SCRIPTURE

Many things practiced by Christians are actually not Christian DOCTRINE. Many, if not most, are church/denominational DOGMA. How can you spot the difference? If they use SCRIPTURE to defend it, it is DOCTRINE. If they use LOGIC to defend it, no matter how convincing it sounds, it is DOGMA‬. Carefully read 2 Timothy 3:16 which says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE”. Anything that cannot pass the 2 Timothy 3:16 test is DOGMA. DOGMA will take you to the BROAD WAY and WIDE GATE Christ preached against in Matthew 7:13. DOCTRINE will lead you to the STRAIT GATE and NARROW WAY of Matthew 7:14. 2 Timothy 3:12 says “all that will live godly in Christ shall suffer persecution.” If I mistakenly preach against some DOGMATIC ‘Christian’ celebrations that have no root in Scripture, you will see how speedily Christians will rush to defend them with logic. Why? Because according to Matthew 7:13, BROAD is the WAY that leads to (fill in the gap) and MANY are...
